Alessi Compressioni Groot is een samengeperste unieke mand uit de nieuwe serie il Tornitore Matto, een project van Alberto Alessi, waarbij hij teruggrijpt op het “draaien” van metaal zoals zijn grootvader deed. Bekende en nieuwe ontwerpers verkenden de hedendaagse mogelijkheden onder leiding van Giulio Iachetti.
Ontwerper: Paolo Ulian
Paolo Ulian, born in 1961, initially pursued painting courses at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara. In 1990, he obtained his degree in industrial design in Florence. He began collaborating with Enzo Mari until 1992. Subsequently, he established his own studio with his brother. At the Milan Furniture Fair in 2000, Paolo Ulian participated in the Salone Satellite and won the first international "Design Report Award." Over the years, he has collaborated with various renowned entities such as Droog Design, Fontana Arte, Luminara, Zani e Zani, BBB Bonacina, Sensi&C., Coop, Azzurra Ceramiche, and Skitsch. His work reflects a commitment to innovative design, earning him recognition and collaborations with notable design brands.

Alessi Compressioni is een project waarin geexperimenteerd werd met het samenpersen van metaal. Dit leverde o.a. deze unieke mand op uit de nieuwe serie il Tornitore Matto, een project van Alberto Alessi, waarbij hij teruggrijpt op het “draaien” van metaal zoals zijn grootvader deed. Bekende en nieuwe ontwerpers verkenden de hedendaagse mogelijkheden onder leiding van Giulio Iachetti. Er zijn twee breedte-maten in RVS en een lagere kleine in messing.
