Ontwerper: Zaha Hadid
Zaha Hadid (Baghdad 1950-2016) studied at the Architectural Association in London, where she graduated in 1977. She was affiliated with the University of Applied Arts in Vienna as a lecturer and a visiting professor at Yale University. She began her professional career in 1979. Some of her major completed projects include the LF One Pavilion in Weil am Rhein (1993-1999), the Mind Zone in the Millennium Dome in London (1997-1999), a tram station and parking garage in Strasbourg (2001), and a ski jump in Innsbruck (2002). Zaha Hadid was also known as a painter and designer, with her work showcased in various exhibitions in the United States, Japan, Great Britain, and Germany.
