Marcello Jori was born in Merano on December 12, 1951. He currently resides and works in Bologna. After earning his degree from DAMS (Drama, Art, and Music Studies, Bologna), Jori began his career as an artist in 1977, quickly exhibiting in galleries and museums both domestically and internationally. In the mid-1970s, Jori took his initial tentative steps into certain conceptual currents.

Alessi Happy Eternity Lucky Pig is officially named Porcafortuna, this porcelain, hand-painted figure is part of Alessi’s Happy Eternity Christmas series. Released alongside a white dog and black sheep in 2022, it belongs to the larger Happy Eternity Baby collection. Designed by Italian artists Massimo Giacon and Marcello Jori, who also created Alessi’s smaller Christmas series.
