Alessi Mattina Bread Bin Warm Grey. ‘Mattina’ translates to ‘morning’ in Italian. The design group Big Game created a series of fresh accessories for the table or kitchen, with a touch of Scandinavian clarity. In this collection, there is now the bread box, butter dish, kitchen roll holder, and the cake or cheese dome. In addition to matte red and warm grey, dark grey/anthracite was also added in 2022. Materials include (coated) stainless steel, porcelain, and beechwood. The design group is also responsible for the Alessi Amici cutlery series.
Ontwerper: Big Game
Big Game is a design studio founded by Elric Petit (Belgium), Augustin Scott de Martinville (France), and Gregoire Jeanmond (Switzerland). They established their collaborative studio in 2004 and have worked with notable brands such as Hay and Alessi. All three of them teach in Lausanne, Switzerland, at ECAL (University of Art and Design Lausanne). Their motto is: Simple, Intelligent, and Functional.
