Guido Venturini, born in Alfonsine in 1957, resides and works in Milan. He is a versatile professional, functioning as an architect, designer, and, more recently, a committed painter. Graduating in architecture from the University of Florence in 1984, he later contributed his expertise as an instructor at both the Domus Academy in Milan and the Accademia di Brera, specifically in the design department. In the realm of industrial design, Venturini achieved notable success alongside Stefano Giovannoni, collaborating on the "happy objects" concept coined as "Family follows fiction." Among his well-known designs are Gino Zucchino and the Firebird. Venturini, in partnership with Giovannoni, established King Kong and introduced the Girotondo series at Alessi. This series marked its 25th anniversary in 2019, commemorated by a limited edition golden jubilee release. Since 2000, Venturini has expanded his interests beyond design to include painting.
