Opossum combines Metal with Nature. Stainless steel, Corten steel or Powder-coated aluminium combined with branches. The branches serve as landing pads. Everything is designed and manufactured in Germany. Feeding the birds has become particularly important and especially in the warm summer months. Richard Sinnig, along with Uwe and Heike Sinnig, has been designing for Opossum Design since 1998. Their inspiration for birdhouses is drawn from the Bauhaus style in Weimar. In addition to birdhouses, they design various other interior accessories.
