Richard Sinnig, along with Uwe and Heike Sinnig, has been designing for Opossum Design since 1998. Their inspiration for birdhouses is drawn from the Bauhaus style in Weimar. In addition to birdhouses, they design various other interior accessories.

Information
Opossum Birdhouse VHT 15 W is a new Birdfeeder with Alessi drinking bowl (2024). Addition of Larix wood suits contemporary house construction, with the wood taking on a beautiful grey colour with time. This Birdvilla also features a wooden stick as a landing pad. The Alessi bowl is only included with us, as we find it more beautifully connected. The whole is supported by a two-piece stainless steel pole of 150 cm.
Matching modern architecture, Opossum offers a new, puristically designed birdhouse with flat roof, water dish and large feeding place. Ornithologists recommend a combination of feeding station and the water dish to provide year-round feeding. With the decline of insects, our birds need year-round support, not only in winter, but especially with food when the young birds are growing up and with water during periods of dry weather.
