Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959. He studied design at the Royal College of Art and at the HdK in Berlin. As the editor of the Design Year Book 1999, with a passion for design history, Morrison has created designs for companies such as Cappellini, Vitra, Magis, Flos, Rosenthal, and Sony. He maintains a studio in London and spends a significant amount of time in Japan. Morrison is renowned for his straightforward and timeless style.
